Girls aren’t the problem. They’re the solution.
This is at the heart of Hardy Girls Healthy Women’s revolutionary Summer Institute. Join girls’ development expert Lyn Mikel Brown, EdD and other experts from Hardy Girls Healthy Women this summer to learn how to work with girls to create a better world.
Set in a hilltop college setting, this three-day conference will feature the latest theories about girls’ health and development and offer proven methods for supporting girls’ voices and scaffolding girls’ activism. Participants will also interact directly with teenage girls, offering eye-opening intergenerational dialogue.

Note: Psychologists, social workers, and educators may receive 16 hours of Continuing Education Credits.
When not attending the conference, participants will enjoy all the beauty of a summer in Maine. Enjoy one of Maine’s largest art museums, sprawling woods, and an impressive arboretum. Post conference, stay the weekend and enjoy Maine’s natural wonders.
